Two VXD modules, which operate in a floating system and are controlled by electronic pulses, ensure fast and precise focusing on near and far lenses. The new motor also guarantees improved AF tracking, for example when shooting sports. The autofocus works so quietly at the same time that you can take pictures even in situations that require absolute silence. Nearest focusing distance only 0.85 m The shortest focusing distance of the 70-180mm F/2.8 is only 0.85 m regardless of the selected focal length.
